Our Carolina metal barn building kits come with raised central aisle which gives these structures that vintage pole barn look. However, in terms of structural strength and durability, traditional pole barns are no match for our steel barns. Additionally, steel also makes this metal barn much more flexible. So, you can use it for a variety of purposes.

Features of 42×21 Carolina Steel Barn

The three sections of the metal barn, the raised central aisle, and two side lean-tos are partially enclosed to give the structure somewhat of an open design. Gabled on both the ends, the 18′ wide central aisle is perfect for housing vehicles, tools, and machinery that need frequent access. The dimension of the central section is such that you can even fit smaller boats and RV trailer under its roof.

The lean-tos of the metal barn each have a dimension of 12’W x 21’L x 8’H. Also, metal barn sidings fully enclose one of the sides of each of these sections, which give your belongings extra protection from the harsher elements. Gabled ends are also provided with these lean-tos for the same purpose.

Another main feature of this metal barn is the A-framed roof that comes with the boxed eave roof style. Horizontal roof panels of this style tend to accumulate moisture along the ridges during heavy rainfall, which can lead to premature rusting of the panels. That is why we recommend the vertical roof style as an option for extreme weather.

Other customization options available with this prefab metal barn are the color combination choices, the upgrade from 14-gauge framing to 12-gauge framing, etc. With these options, you can design your metal barn however you desire.
