How to Prepare Your Site

Site Preparation Checklist

  • Obtain all required building permits from your local municipality
  • Ground is leveled — no more than 3" off level in any direction
  • Mark any underground supply lines for crew safety
  • Area cleared of debris, vegetation, and obstructions
  • Concrete pad fully cured and settled (if applicable)
  • Minimum 3 ft clearance around perimeter for crew and equipment access
  • Be present on delivery day to inspect your order

The Installation Process

1. Base Rails

Laid out in an exact rectangle and secured to the ground with the appropriate anchors.

2. Frame Assembly

Frames assembled on the ground, then erected and fixed to the base rails to complete the skeleton.

3. Panels

Metal panels added to the roof first, then sides and ends for a weather-tight seal.

4. Doors & Finishing

Doors, windows, and trim installed. Site cleaned up and final inspection completed.

Installation Surfaces & Anchors

Dirt / Ground

Rebar anchors — 1/2" x 32" driven into the soil. Standard for non-certified installs.

Asphalt

Mobile home anchors — helical auger-style for certified installs on paved surfaces.

Concrete

Wedge anchors — drilled and set into the slab. Required for certified structures.
